Even with the terrible weather last week the trails in Speculator were in good shape for the most part. Kudos to the Town of LP grooming team for getting Perkins in great shape for the weekend. Mud Lake road was fantastic on Saturday and Sunday. Job well done!
On Saturday we groomed the village trails and C4 from Oak to Perkins w/ the BR-110 and they are in decent shape but more snow is needed. On Sunday we tried to groom Cave Hill Rd to Wells w/ the BR-60+ but we encountered a long patch of glare ice on Cave Hill and had to back down the hill. We will just need to wait on new snow before we can groom w/ the BR-60+.
We can continue to groom the Village trails w/ the BR-110 and the trail to the Tree Farm w/ the skandics.
