The 4th Annual NYSSA Adirondack Snowmobile Trail Conference will be held this Sunday.
This year’s focus will be on looking to the future. Several UMP’s have been approved and several more are being worked on. Representatives from the DEC, OPRHP, DOT, and Economiv Development are sceduled to attend.
Topics to be covered:
- DEC Q&A about snowmobile issues
- Status of status of Easements and Recreational Plans
- Idenify trails on the forest preserve that need work
- Review upcoming UMP issues such as trail designation and trail closures learn of trail logs, priorities, work plans.
- The NEW Trail Steward program.
The Conference runs from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
