Update - March 9th Print E-mail

Due to poor weather conditions this past weekend grooming activities were limited.  The Skandics were used Friday night to smooth out the big bumps in the Village before the rain moved in on Saturday.  Thank you to Aaron, Paul and Michael Allen.
On Sunday Aaron and I took a ride to check out the damage done by the rain and to our surprise the trails were in decent shape.  A few areas between Perkins and the Village were showing wear and tear but overall the trails were in good shape.  The Tree Farm from Long Level Lodge to the Steel Bridge on Fly Creek was a 10++ ride.  The balance of the Tree Farm still had plenty of snow and all we need are cold temps.

We are still waiting parts for the BR-110 since the wrong ram pistons were sent.  John N. is working on a temporary fix until the right parts come it.  The throttle cable for the BR-60+ came in and now the guys at the town garage can give it a test run and let us know how the tranny looks.  Thank you to Randy, Dan and others who helped us w/ the expertise.

We will groom the Village Trails w/ the BR-110 as soon as repairs are made then we will move it to the tree Farm.  The river trail is no longer safe for a track groomer but is OK for the Skandics.  We will use the Skandics to maintain the Village trails until there is no more snow to groom.  We should have a few more weeks of grooming in the Village and the Tree farm should be good until the first of April ..... weather pending.

Thanks all
Bob C.
