Lots of grooming and lots of repairs this past week. A gold star will be going out to John N. for a week of marathon grooming in the BR's prior to the poker run and warm weather. Another special mention to Aaron and John N. for spending tons of time in the shop this past weekend working on the BR-60+ steering system. The entire length of chain that was damaged was removed and replace w/ new and a new steering gear was installed. We hope this fix will get us through the balance of the season and keep the BR-60+ running strong. THANKS guys ... Job well done.
Also thanks to all the groomers who worked the trails this weekend. With all the poker run traffic and warm temps the trails got hammered. We will work hard to get them back in shape for the holiday season.
We will continue to run the BR-110 between the Village and Perkins and the Tree Farm. The BR-60+ will groom Old Rt 8, Fly Creek and Long Level and the Skandics will groom the Village trails as well as Page Street.
Tip of the day ... ride the trails in the Tree Farm. The are in great shape and see less traffic than Perkins.
