More snow, more grooming and more repairs. This week took its toll on the grooming equipment but we should back in business soon. On Saturday the BR-110's ram steer broke leaving the unit stranded at the burn pit. VR rewelded the unit and it was reinstalled today. The towns BR-110 did not fare so well. On S41C an rear axle broke and the axle housing ripped off the frame. The town removed the axle today and will hopefully have a replacement part machined and installed this week. All the skandics are running and located at the Village Motel. The BR-110 is at the ball field and the BR-60+ is located on Old Rt 30.
We will continue to run the BR-110 from Perkins to HM117 in the tree farm, the BR-60+ will concentrate on Old Rt 30, Fly Creek and Long Level and the Skandics will groom C4 from HM104 to HM117, the Village trails and Page Street.
