Grooming within the Town of Lake Pleasant is performed by the Town Department of Recreation.  The Town is reimbursed for some grooming expenses through the NYS Snowmobile Trail Grant Program (Your snowmobile registration dollars). 

DRAG of Speculator assists the Town by grooming the trails within the Village of Speculator.  DRAG is funded by business and family donations.  Fuel assistance and insurance is provided by the Pleasant Riders Snowmobile Club, with some fuel, parts and supplies also provided by the Town of Lake Pleasant.

Within the Village, DRAG generally grooms, HM105 to HM117 area, C4 from HM105 to Perkins, and the Page street trail (LP1), as well as access trails to Village businesses. Additionally, we groom C8 between HM113(Mason Lake) and Indian Lake.

Grooming activity is primarily on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. Based on equipment repair and availability of the volunteer groomer operators.
